Natalie A. Stanish, MS, LMFT
Natalie makes sure that parents have what they need to co-parent effectively and raise healthy & happy children. She is a highly-qualified and seasoned Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Denver and Chicago, and the current Director of a Graduate-Level training program where she supervises and trains master’s level intern therapists. She has a Master’s Degree in Child Development and Family Studies, over a decade of clinical experience with families, and has taught family therapy and child development classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level. She received her Mediation training from Mosten-Guthrie and is a trained Collaborative Divorce Coach and Child Specialist. By combining her expertise in mental health with her experience in the family law field, she provides coaching clients with a collaborative and well-informed “one stop shop” comprehensive experience.
Natalie offers Collaborative Divorce Coaching & Child Specialist Coaching, Co-Mediation, Mediation-assisted Divorce Coaching, and child-focused Co-parenting Coaching to separating and divorcing/divorced parents.
Natalie has extensive knowledge about and expertise in family dynamics, trauma and attachment, child development and effective communication skills to help support parents. Her approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems therapy, an evidence-based and tremendously successful approach to helping parents communicate and interact more effectively with each other and their children.
Natalie assists parents in raising emotionally healthy children by resourcing clients with the skills they need to regulate themselves and feel more grounded in their bodies, communicate effectively and interact respectfully with their co-parent, and be emotionally present and engaged with their children. She is committed to helping families one parent at a time.
